TigerText lets you group text privately.  With TigerText you control how long a message lives and you can recall messages back.  Users can create groups and meet new friends on TigerText.  You don’t even need to share your mobile number – you can simply give friends your TigerText  user ID.  Message status shows you when a text message has been received, opened and expired.

IS THIS THE TIGERTEXT APP FOR HOSPITALS?

HOW DOES TIGERTEXT WORK? 

When sending a regular text message, the message sent will live on the receiver’s phone until the recipient decides to delete it. The text message will also reside on the cell phone company’s server for an unlimited amount of time. TigerText is different because with TigerText messages, the sender controls when the message is deleted from the recipient's phone and the TigerText server. 

WHEN I SEND A TIGERTEXT MESSAGE, WILL I BE CHARGED STANDARD TEXT MESSAGING FEES FROM MY WIRELESS CARRIER?
 
No. TigerText uses the data connection on your phone therefore you will not incur text messaging fees for sending TigerText messages. There is no trace of a text message on your phone, the servers or your wireless bill.

WHAT IF I SEND A TIGERTEXT TO SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE TIGERTEXT INSTALLED?
 
The user will receive a message from TigerText that encourages them to install the simple chat app. Both users must have TigerText in order to chat. 

ARE TIGERTEXTS COPYABLE?
 
Someone could find a way to video capture TigerText, take a screen shot, or take a photo of the phone. TigerText cannot promise that your messages will not be copied by some alternative means.
