R-Vintage Lookup

For as far as it goes - and that's really not far enough - this app is very reliable & helpful as a means to separate the best from the rest in the wine world.
It rates vintages for various wine-growing regions, by country, region & year, also indicating the status of wines (drink, hold, etc). Quality ratings are based on 100, highest being best.
My gripes with the app is that it has too many information gaps. That is to say that info for many attention worthy wine regions are is missing. For example, regions omitted range from Oregon & New York to most of Italy, much of France, Spain & South Africa, to the very numerous world class wines of Israel, that is totally missing from the roster of countries, as are Bulgaria, Georgia & many other places that have long wine-making traditions & experience.
It would seem that the people who provide this app lost interest in its ongoing developent & are letting it stagnate.
Bottom line: All the earmarks of a potentially great wine app, but too little content & commitment from the vendor.

I use the app frequently at the wine store and bars but just noticed that there is hardly any vintage for white wine and absolutely no (white or red) for South African grapes. 
Should be upgraded more frequently
