Electrical Calc Pro

E-calc Pro is a professional grade application that no electrician or electrical engineer should be without.  E-calc Pro calculates many common formulas and tables based on the 2009 Canadian Electrical Code.

The app contains 11 seperate "modules" for performing common electrical calculations or tasks.

- Construction Calculator;  A full featured calculator that also works with feet, inch, and fractional inches.  Use it to do all your daily calculations including dividing a room up to space lighting evenly.

- Transformer Calculator;  Enter the type of transformer you have and the app will supply fusing size, wire size, pipe size, allowable amperage and more for both the primary and secondary.  Table and code rule references are also given in a handy status bar.  Easily email the result page to a man in the field or to yourself to save it.

- Motor Calculator;  Enter the type of motor and the full load amperage and the app will supply fusing size, overload size, pipe size, wire size, and more.  Table and code rule references are also given in a handy status bar.  Easily email the result page to a man in the field or to yourself to save it.

- Pipe Fill Calculator;  Enter your wire types and sizes and the app will return the maximum number of conductors allowed in the pipe.  Or alternately start a list of different wire sizes and types and the calculator will return the required pipe size as well as the numbers used to find it. - Allowable Ampacity Calculator;  Enter your wire type and derating conditions and the app will return the allowable ampacity.

- Voltage Drop Calculator;  Easily calculate percent voltage drop as well as maximum distances.  Derating by temperature and ampacity is also supported.

- Grounding Calculator;  Look up ground and bond sizes based on tables 16 and 17.
