Prompt automatically monitors your BlackBerry calendar for an offsite meeting or a trip to the airport. Then it predicts the traffic on your route and provides a "leave by time." This time is updated as you get ready to leave because the application is reviewing time/location-based weather, incidents and real-time traffic. Based on this information, it adjusts the route and travel time, alerts you it is time to leave so you are always punctual.

Predicts the future

I had an important business dinner in Boston, a two hour drive from my office in CT. Prompt's GPS calendar predicted a two hour drive, but while I finish last minute emails, a chime goes off in my pocket. Prompt says I should expect another 14 minutes of traffic. On the when to leave screen I see an accident on i95 and jump in the car with 5 minutes to spare. Heavy rain on i395 slows me down and traffic on i90 / i495 exit is bad. I forget the way downtown Boston and I press navigator, Gokivo starts in seconds, knows where I'm going, and gives me the next turn. I arrive 7 minutes early (Prompt was 2 minutes out, on the safe side). I have my raincoat, Prompt warned me that I'd need it. I don't know how Prompt predicted the future but I have a feature request: stock recommendations!

Incredibly Useful

I'm amazed! I love Prompt: the time to leave alerts are accurate to the minute; I know exactly when leave, and what route to take, and always arrive on time (always!). Literally I never have to worry about being late. Knowing traffic conditions and being aware of changes I can increase the frequency of daily customer visits and avoid wasted time trip planning at my PC. Prompt even allows me to click to voice directions if I forget an exit. Then Prompt tells me what weather to expect at my destination. Highly recommended for sales people.
