Yippidu NYC Events

Yippidu NYC Events is an application for BlackBerry® devices that provides its users with a list of major events occurring in New York City. Yippidu NYC Events pre-loads events in your BlackBerry and keeps them updated twice a day - so you do not have to wait to load information.

Currently, Yippidu NYC Events covers theater shows and concerts. Theaters are organized according to being Broadway or Off-Broadway theaters. You can browse events according to theater name or show name. There is also a special section dedicated to shows playing now.

For each event, you have a short summary list and a slightly longer description. If you get to the longer description, you can click on the title to open the browser to the web site of the theater. If you click on the address, Yippidu will open BlackBerry map application to the location of the theater. When in the longer description page, you are provided with a snippet of text of less then 350 chars.

Native Twitter support is also available. Basically, you can post events titles and links directly to Twitter without using the mobile browser. To do so enter your credentials, saved only on your device, using Yippidu Options menu item.
