Video Poker for BlackBerry PlayBook

This standalone game plays several variations of classic Video Poker. Included are single-hand Jacks or Better, All American, and Deuces Wild, as well as 3-hand versions of each of those. The overall look and feel is inspired by machines you may have seen in casinos. You can hold your tablet in landscape or portrait mode; the app will reorganize the screen layout accordingly.

The application offers a number of options such as the card face and card back designs, animation setting, and volume control.
The single-hand games also have an optional Strategy/Training mode: on each deal, you have the opportunity to hold cards, then hit Draw. The app will tell you if you've held the recommended combination of cards, or show you hints as to a better strategy.

Credits used within the application have no external monetary or other value, and are saved and replenished automatically. 

The free trial version of this app has some restrictions, but offers the same overall game play experience as the full-function paid version. Each time the free version starts up, it chooses one of the game variations at random, and does not allow you to change the game type.
