When you hover over one of the activating icons it will show you a multitude of info like New Incoming Unread E-Mails, New Incoming Unread Text Messages (on most devices - if you separate your e-mail and sms msgs), Calendar Entries & Missed Calls.  The activating icons consist of Messages, Call Log, SMS & Calendar and even more on OS 6 devices.  

This Hidden Today Plus Theme offers far more than the “standard” Today Style Themes & you get to see information from many icons instead of the standard 2 that most Today Style Theme offer.  Please view the screen shots for your particular device to see what it looks!
