Great news! The BT Fon app for Blackberry is here. As a BT broadband customer you have free unlimited wi-fi minutes - get online at over 3 million hotspots across the UK, avoid congested mobile networks and it’s free.  

The Blackberry BT FON app makes BT Wi-fi even easier to use. All that you need to do is enter your BT broadband login details, and use the app to connect to one of our 3 million BT FON and BT Openzone Wi-Fi hotspots across the UK whenever you’re in range.

What you can use the app to do:

Log into over 3 million BT Wi-fi hotspots:
Use the app to log in to any BT Wi-fi hotspot across the UK. When you are in range of a hotspot, connect to BT Fon or BT Openzone in your device wi-fi settings. Then simply open the app and you will be automatically taken to the connected screen which will log you in. After you have done this, you can close the app and start using your free, unlimited wi-fi.  

Save on your data bills:
The BT FON app ensures you make the most of this free, unlimited service without having to think about it – helping you to avoid running up large mobile data bills.

Find your nearest hotspot:
If you’re not in a BT Wi-fi area, the mapping tool will help you find the nearest hotspot, and with new additions to BT Wi-fi all the time, you’ll find it even easier to find places to log on and use your wi-fi.

PLEASE READ:
How to use for the first time:
1.	Download and open the app. Confirm that you are a ‘BT Broadband Customer’, select ‘Set Up Now’ and then type in your BT internet email address and password, accept the terms and conditions and click on Activate.
2.	This will automatically opt you in for BT Fon. 
3.	Now your settings are entered you’re ready to connect. By pressing activate, this will automatically take you to the connection screen.
4.	 When you are in a BT Fon or BT Openzone hotspot for the first time, click on Wi-Fi Settings on your Blackberry, and select BT Fon or BT Openzone.
5.	Then, open the BT FON Wi-Fi app and you will automatically be taken to the connect screen and logged in

How to use subsequently:
1.	Please ensure your wi-fi is enabled and you are in range of a hotspot
2.	Connect to BT FON or BT Openzone and just open the app and you will be logged in to start using you free, unlimited wi-fi minutes 

Please note: You must be a BT broadband customer to make full use of the services. The application is designed for use at BT Fon and BT Openzone hotspots by BT broadband customers.
