Hearts

Also known as Black Lady, Chase the Lady, Crubs, and Black Maria; this card game is all about avoiding hearts and trying to keep your score as low as possible. The rules are simple; a player leads and puts a card down. Each player must follow with the same suit, and the player that plays the highest card from that suit wins the trick.

Don’t be so quick to give away those hearts just yet! They must be played as part of a trick that started with another suit first. If you have nothing else to play, put a heart down and hope it wasn’t the highest card, or you just might end up with a few points. Each deal has 26 points, each game 100.
