I have BB Bold 9700 and it works fine on it. Loads quickly and the trailers play smoothly, no jerkyness or freezing. I know older model BB have a memory issue. I know this first hand because my previous job used to push my older BB to it's limits. That's why I had to upgrade. My advice: upgrade your BB to a newer model.
