Screensaver and charging monitor based on "Cafe Terrace at Night", by van Gogh. When plugged in, a semi-transparent battery icon shows charging status, filling up with color changing from red through yellow to green. The screensaver and/or charging monitor modes can be enabled and disabled individually, however you prefer. When enabled, the screensaver appears after your backlight times out, and remains until it times out again. (i.e. If your timeout is set to 30 seconds, after you've been idle for 30 seconds, the screensaver will show for 30 seconds, then allow the phone to enter standby with light off.) When enabled, the charging monitor appears when you plug in (either computer or A/C adapter), and disappears when you unplug. If you don't want to see the charging monitor or screensaver, you can dismiss it by pressing Escape, and can also disable autostarting using the menu, and later re-enable it by clicking the app's icon and using menu. Whatever your backlight brightness setting, while the screensaver or charging monitor is shown it reduces the backlight to minimum brightness (10%), to have minimal impact on battery life and charging time. tags: artwork, art, impressionist, impressionism Latest Reviews
