Speedometer

Speedometer uses the GPS module to calculate your current speed. Speed can be shown in mph, km/h, m/s, ft/s or knots.

Also included odometer, stopwatch, maximum and average speed.

On the analog screen a compass is included. A small red tip is always showing the direction to north. This is only working while moving. The devices have no built-in magnetic compass. 

On the digital screen you have the optinal option to show the adress where you are. Speedometer is one of the first apps, that uses the BlackBerry® reverse geocoding API. Be sure that BlackBerry® Maps is installed on your device to use this new API.  

You can set two speed limits. If you are faster than limit 1 the LED starts blinking slow in blue. After limit 2 the LED blinks fast orange.

Limit 2 is also responsible for the scaling of the analog speedometer. That is why the analog speedometer always appears in a good range depending on your setup. Limit 2 also can cause a sound alert.

Ideal for driving, biking, running, skiing, sailing and other activities. Your routes can be stored in the Calendar on the device.
