Player For YouTube

Player for YouTube allows you to browse, play, search, share and bookmark YouTube videos on your BlackBerry® device with a very easy to use interface.

The following features are supported:

* Featured, Popular, Top Rated, Newest and Most Viewed Feeds
* Playing videos over RTSP Streaming or Wi-Fi and WAP
* Share video links by email with your friends
* Bookmark your favorite videos for easy access
* Search for videos, including saved search history
* Browse videos by Categories and Tags
* View user channels
* Click on YouTube.com links from other BlackBerry applications
* Support for High Quality videos
* Support for log into YouTube to manage favorites
* Embedded video player (no longer launches the browser)

New features in 1.2:

* View more than just the first 25 videos
* Share videos by Email, Facebook or Twitter
* Many Bug fixes and minor improvements

Player for YouTube Pro is now available with support for Uploads, My Videos, Subscriptions and no ads.

Note: You must have a BlackBerry device with system software 4.6 or above to use Player for YouTube.  As well a Wi-Fi connection is recommended to reduce data charges, if no Wi-Fi is available a WAP data connection must be available.

Support Note: If you have problems playing videos it's because your data plan probably does not support streaming YouTube videos.   To verify if your data plan supports YouTube please try and play videos with your BlackBerry Browser on http://m.youtube.com to confirm. If the video paying fails in the browser then contact your carrier and they can adjust your data plan to support YouTube video streaming.  Many users submit reviews saying that playing videos does not work, but it is because of their data plans do not support it.
