WindTrack

   * Requires Full Internet on phone for most carriers.  Be sure you have full internet.
    * Also, weather stations come and go and only about 20% of them report forecasting.  I cannot do anything about stations that stop responding which comprises all the complaints I get.    
    * On the water and off, 24 hour access the current wind conditions in over 3000 locations in 20 countries
    * Provides wind related information not normally parsed/included in commercial weather feeds.
    * Current wind conditions includes exact time of reading (no more "estimates" like most), average sustained wind, gusts, peak wind, exact heading (in compass degrees), arc data if provided by NOAA (think wind shifts), cloud cover, temperature, and general phenomena. Units can be Mph/Fahrenheit or Knots/Celsius.
    * Detailed wind forecast for the next 24 hours including transitions and rate of transitions if provided. Also, the exact time of forecast is given to gauge accuracy. Most often, the forecast is composed of a sequence of (direction/velocity pairs) every 4-5 hours for a 24 hour period. Units again can be Mph/Fahrenheit or Knots/Celsius.
    * Includes the Wind Notifier, a service which allows you to register to get notified when the current or forecasted wind exceeds your ideal threshold... so you *never* have to miss a day of sailing again.
    * WindTrack Network also allows enthusiasts with internet-connected weather stations to join in and provide wind-related information for any subscriber of WindTrack (Cell phone, PDA, or internet)! 
    * Countries supported:  United States, Australia, New Zealand, Caribbean, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Mexico, Brazil and others.
