I download a news app to make it more convenient to read than just using my little web browser. Although this is very pretty, it's functionality is inconvenient. To read a story, you first have to see the headlines. Then choose the headline and it gives you the first sentence or two so you click "full story" and after you scroll down through a page's worth of ads and header crap, finally you get to read the story. |

New York Local Stopped working a long time ago; Can't get rid of a RSS feed (which is related to the NY feed Not working); Couric & Co last updated 10/14/09; other Local Feeds get 1 or 2 stories per update. |

I like this app as it keeps you in the know with breaking news and top stories. the only bad thing is sometimes if you find a story you want to read after clicking on full story it takes you to a page with ads and other stuff not having anything to do with the news story. But it doesn't happen too often which is why I gave this 4 stars. :) |

This app was working fine, but now the local NYC news remains stuck on August 3rd and won't update. I deleted it and re-instaled it and the date remained the same. I'm deleting it for good now. |
