Onebox

This app is worthless in my opinion. Doesn't do anything you can't all ready find out through email or text alerts. Would be nice if you could compose emails and especially faxes through app.  Hopefully more features become available.

I can't login to my account ever. This app by far is the worst

I previously gave this app 4 stars. Till this 1.2 version. It had its flaws but was very useful.  

But with 1.2 its useless with no bright future:

Onebox broke the click to call feature so it has to reload each time you want to make a call - a 90 second wait which locks your BB up for the duration. 

They broke your caller ID from your direct line which is relevant to your corporate # which is irrelevant - with no option to choose. 

4 people is customer support knew nothing of the app and only because I have an inside ear did I get anywhere with tech #5.... Yet after 2 weeks - no fixes. 

Worse - there message center will only playback your voicemails over the speaker phone for the world to hear.... I guess they don't believe your VM is private and deserve your option of the handset speaker or your BT earpiece.... Onebox decides. 

Stay away.

Could not log in. Disappointed

Continuous login errors, zero tech support. Application was working then simply stopped. Customer service is worse than the application with canned responses and no actual support of any kind.

I received an email from onebox a few days ago announcing an update that fixes all the issues. Its supposedly available now but.....where is it?

It doesn't work in my Storm either. This company sucks.

I was able to login, get voice mail, search transcriptions. Instructions say to use phone number and ext to login like 8008887777x2.

I have Onebox for my company for many years - this is great to finally have. 

1st - login problems - there were none for me - my phone number and pin. That simple. 


2nd - Voice mail retrieval is excellent - though the menu system is a little underdeveloped and inconsistent. Needs to be improved. Like deleting a messaging only from a track ball but not the BlackBerry button. 

3rd - would like to see my faxes added to the message center. 

4th - Would like to see new message notification on the app instantly instead of waiting for an SMS or e.mail.

What a waste! OneBox (J2 Global),  like many companies, rushed the development & released defective software.
