Some people can't sleep in quiet and need to have the hum of the static! My husband use to tune an old am/fm radio to in between channels and now we use this all the time! Even I like it! Lite version is all we need, no other sounds required here! :) |

The app does just what it says, generate white noise, which has specific characteristics. For a sound engineer needing actual white noise this is a great little free app. |

I use this app to help my 6 week old son sleep. He sleeps for 5 hour stretches with white noise.

Maybe I just prefer silence when I sleep. Volume seems to be really loud. Finer control of the volume might make it better, but for me it just seems like ridiculous noise |

I dwnld this evn tho so many said it wuz loud. I found that if u actly play w the prgm u wud find that u can adjust da volume. Turning it down is a good way to get used to the sound! Give it a try |

I have this app by the same manufacturer on my iPod and enjoy it very much. Unfortunately for the BlackBerry edition you can ONLY listen to static unless you pay for another version. No storms or planes or ocean or any of the other sounds available on my iPod version. Very disappointed. |
